Lurking In The Shadows Of Suburbia A Menacing Neighbor With A Gun

All beginning, little suspecting what horrors await us, an attractive young couple married, Lisa and Chris Mattson (Kerry Washington and Patrick Wilson), move into a beautiful new house on a quiet cul-de-sac amid the hills and canyons of Los Angeles County. There is no lake to see, but the property does not afford a nice view of metaphorical fire in the distance. Lakeview Terrace, directed by Neil LaBute from a script by David Loughery and Howard Korder, belongs to a subgenre reasonably familiar: the next suburban psycho-noir.
